Liquid Painting

CMC’s multiple paint lines are capable of producing all types of coatings and include three overhead conveyors, eight paint booths, and oven system for both batch and uninterrupted baking times of various temperatures.  Our lines are of varying sizes and specifications so that we can accommodate virtually any painted parts.

Our coating weight around 2,000 micrograms per square foot.  This coating produces a much heavier build that is ideally suited as a base for water soluble oil as a treatment for corrosion protection.

CARC

CARC Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC) painting is provided and certified to meet military specifications and applications. All pieces painted receive certified immersion pretreatment to ensure maximum paint adhesion.

Special attention is paid to detailed prints so that all parts are processed according to their specifications. Detailed masking allows detailed protection for unpainted or sensitive areas and maintain critical tolerances. Our military coatings are all QPL certified.

HYDRA 70 PROJECT

CMC is proud to be a supplier for the military’s versatile and cost effective Hydra 70 program.  In conjunction with General Dynamics and Woodlawn Manufacturing, CMC has applied finishes to a variety of warheads (M151, M156, M229, M274, PXR and WTU-1/B) for over 15 years.

Inspections by DCMA, JAMS and GD along with independent, daily salt spray testing is performed to confirm the reliability and high standard of CMC’s application.  Likewise, our finishes and applications comply with all applicable military specifications and prints.
